Our Story

How it all began

We first swiped right on tinder in 2015, we became good friends and talked all the time!

We met in person in Staines for the first time - We met a few times after this but decided to be good friends while we were on different life paths. We remained really good friends during this time.

In 2016 we realized our life goals aligned and we fell for each other and our feelings grew and grew... We met up again and it was like no time had pased and from this point we were inseparable meeting up every weekend or whenever we could... along with hours of calls...

2nd November 2016 Liam asked Lauren to be his girlfriend...and the rest is history!

Over the last 7 years we've made amazing memories, moving into our own house, adding our fur baby Rolo to our family and various holidays and adventures but one memory  we will always cherish is August 14th 2022 when Liam spontaneously proposed in Florida...

We look forward to tying the knot and making lots more amazing memories!

our engagement

In August 2022 we went to Florida for a family holiday. Florida is our happy place and our favourite holiday destination.

On the 14th August we all decided to get a bite to eat at TGI Fridays. Liam had already decided he wanted to propose and couldn't get a quiet moment with Lauren's dad (Mark) so decided to wait.
When we got back from the meal Lauren got into comfy clothes and settled down with some of the family playing a game of UNO - Liam saw Mark outside on his own and took the chance to have the conversation.

While Lauren and a few family members were engrossed in a intense game of UNO Liam came inside and waited patiently for the game of UNO to finish and luckily Lauren won this round. He asked Lauren to follow him into their room - And to walk straight out to the pool (Our bedroom leaded outside to the pool) Lauren realised what was happening and laughed nervously. Liam took Lauren to the pool and got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Once we took the moment in, we ran inside and celebrated with the family which ended up with us jumping in the pool!

It was a beautiful intimate moment and we're glad we got to share it with the people around us.

Gifts!

We've been together a year or two,

We don't really need anything new,

Yet if a gift is your intention

we thought that we would mention,

we'd love some pennies to put together,

to save for something that we will treasure.

And just remember, what means the most,

is that your with us to raise a toast!

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

You can RSVP using the Card in your invite. We have tried to make it super easy for you so we have pre printed the address & paid for postage so you just need to fill in the details and post the card back to us! If you would prefer to RSVP using the website this is also an option.

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later then 14th February. We have a very strict time frame as we still have lots to plan and finalise with our venue so if we do not receive the RSVP by this date we will presume you are not attending.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will be mostly indoors however we have access to the Gardens onsite.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Formal attire - We ask kindly to avoid wearing plain burgundy and white attire to make this easy for our photographer and videographer to spot the bridal and groomsman party

Am I able to bring Plus-Ones and Children?

If your invite states yourself and "a guest" or "and family" this means your plus one or children are invited if you are unsure feel free to contact one of us to clarify! We have to stick to a tight guest list so please bear this in mind.

Will there be an open bar?

We will be providing a selection of Beer and Wine for the day guests. If there is any leftovers evening guests are more then welcome to it.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

we advise you aim to arrive 30 minutes before our ceremony start time. Please aim to arrive no later then 12:30pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

For the ceremony we are leaving it up to our  photographer and videographer as we want to see your faces and not your phones. There will be points where you will be able to take pictures.

After the ceremony we encourage you to take as many pictures as you can! We'd love to see them so please scan our barcode located around the venue and upload them to the portal so we have something to look back on while we wait for our photos and video!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Yes! Please post the photos as we'd love to see them! We want pictures to look at the next day!

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Please contact Lauren on 07807265616

You Must Have Some Questions...

Hall of fame
Q/A

This section is a special thanks and appreciation to those people around us who have really helped make our wedding a dream come true!

Caroline Bowry

You have been nothing but welcoming, supportive and thoughtful. You're the most thoughtful and kind person and will always try to help where ever you can. You have given us so much of your time and will never hesitate to be there for us. Thank you for making this day possible! We love you very much.

Thank you for all of your support and help not only coming to the rescue on multiple occasions when something has broken in the house but also helping us financially make this day possible you are so thoughtful and I don't know what we'd do without you! We love you very much!

Mark Bowry

Gemma Newbury

Thank you for helping with all the DIY projects Lauren has brought to the table big or small. Thank you for also helping organise the day even if Lauren is a bit of a Monica! But Monica will always need a Rachel in her life!
We don't know what we would do without a thoughtful and supportive person in our life and for that we thank you immensely.

Jemma Patrick

Thank you Jemma for helping hand make the decorations, centrepieces and doing a whole lot of crochet! You're a Jem and we really appreciate all the support you've given us not only with this day but in general. You really are a caring and thoughful person and we're glad to be family!
